Altering paint cans to make custom gift baskets is a fun way to give an awesome, unique gift to someone you love. Paint cans come in both quart and gallon size, and can be custom-designed for any occasion you can think of. Just think how wow-ed people will be when they get their gift in a paint bucket that's been transformed into a work of art! And just like ordinary gift baskets, these can be put to other uses when the bucket is emptied! You can completely customize the look and/or theme of your can. Themes like a baby shower can, bridal shower, wine tasting party, Christmas gift can, Halloween bucket and more are ideas you can use to decorate your cans.
Paint buckets are super easy to decorate, as well. Just chose your paper and go to town. I just use a normal wet adhesive such as Tombow's Mono Adhesive on mine. Judikin's Diamond Glaze also works really well. You can then embellish your can to match your theme. The can I have showing here is for a baby shower. I used rub-ons and ribbon, and a digital embellishment from Scrap Girls. I also decorated the handle of the can with cut pieces of fabric. |
