Tuesday, 06 December 2005

Jan HicksFor me, ScrappingForever.Com is a dream come true.

I have been making scrapbooks for my family for almost 10 years. While my main passion is scrapbooking and paper crafts, I'm also an avid stamper and have found many ways of using that art form in my scrapbooking and altered art.

I strive to keep up with the latest techniques and new products, constantly building up a larger repertoire of ways to make beautiful layouts, cards, paper crafts and altered art. I enjoy stretching my creative boundaries, while at the same time assuring that my albums and other creations remain archivally safe.

I have recently branched off into a new form of this wonderful hobby, digital scrapbooking. As a diehard paper scrapbooker, I haven't totally turned to the dark side. I will always enjoy getting my fingers messy. However, I am enjoying the fun manipulation and creativity that also takes place when using my computer to create lovely projects!

I enjoy helping others learn new ways of doing things, to help them expand their own creative horizons, and that's why I decided to redesign my site to what you see now. Scrapbooking is a passion for me, and I want to share that passion with others. Whether you're completely new to scrapbooking or are an old hand, everyone is welcome, and I look forward to sharing this great form of art with you!

I have included my resume below. If you have any questions, please contact me. I look forward to working with you!
